We have fallen in love with Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. We immediately decided to stay 3 nights (instead of two) and change the rest of our trip route. And it was totally worth it.
The town is charming, the people are super nice and there are endless options if you love the outdoors – we’ll definitely be back. I’ll let the photos do most of the talking.
So my husband convinced me to go downhill mountain biking. You know, the kind where you put your bike on the lift and then ride down a death trap to the end. It was one of the most terrifying things I have ever done. You have to wear pads that make you look like a power ranger which I am more than thankful for after hitting a tree tumbling down the path.
I had thought it wasn’t a good workout until I could barely move my arms the next day. That might have been from all the stress too.
We bought these photos of our kayak trip down the Snake River. We had no idea what we were really getting ourselves into with constant white water. I can’t even tell you how much fun it was! We even saw two bald eagles on our way down.
Nick had to hitchhike back to the car (totally legal) and on the way back we picked up a hitchhiker for good karma.
